The Lost Continent: Antarctica 2022

November 2022: Exploring Antarctica!
For several years as Kim and I have globe-trotted all over the world I've had my eyes on one of the ultimate adventures, going to Antarctica. So as the fall of 2020 was rolling along, amidst the pandemic, I began making travel plans. We decided to launch a "travelling spree" to catch up on our globe trotting. Beginning in July of 2022, Kim and I FINALLY returned to traveling to see the world! From 2015-19 we took 14 adventures outside the continental US.....from November 2019 until July 2022 we have been on ZERO But from July 2022 thru Sept 2023 we will be on nine trips outside the continental US! We went on a Viking Expeditions voyage on the Great Lakes in July; went to Alaska for the SIXTH time in August. In October we traveled to Hawaii for ten glorious days with our friends Sue & Dan Reynolds, and now.....the grand adventure!

November 9: Day 8 - Porter Point

In January of 2022 our five-year-old grandson, Oliver called us so excited because in school that day they had studied ANTARCTICA and he knew we were going there. So he drew us a picture of Antarctica. Note the penguins, on the ice, and we are on the far right. He made sure to point out he'd put "warm clothes" on us because it's cold in Antarctica. :)
